First and foremost, the American Legion is a service organization, and we serve all veterans – you need not be a member to receive assistance.

Examples of services our post can provide:

  • Dignified flag disposal
  • Home and hospital visits
  • Mobile medical clinics
  • Networking opportunities
  • Patriotic ceremonies
  • Referrals for claim assistance
  • Referrals to care providers
  • Social events

Please note that none of our members are accredited by the VA, so we will not be able to serve as your representative for claims and other matters. In that instance, we will refer you to someone who can help.

DIGNIFIED FLAG DISPOSAL

  • All dignified retired flags can be placed in the “RED” mailbox bin at Patterson’s Fire Station-1.
